[BioC] retrieving chromosome lengths using biomaRt?

Hi all,

I'm constructing a bunch of GFF files to load into a genome browser to
display CHiP-on-chip data, and for this I need the length (in bases) of
specific mouse chromosomes.

I was hoping biomaRt might be able to do this, and I see an attempt was
made here ( http://tinyurl.com/y7rbzo) which I can't get to work (for
human or mouse).

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
