[Bioc-devel] Change of maintainer for MoonlightR package

First of all, my apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
I confirm that I will take over as the maintainer of the MoonlightR package and would like to proceed with the requested change.

Once the configuration has been updated on your end and the account is activated, I will update the package configuration and test that the access change was successful.

We can proceed with this request as the current maintainer.  Please have Antonio confirm and we can make this change on the configuration on our end.

We recommend Antonio make the change once we finish up change the configuration as then they can test that change of access was successful.

Once the configuration on our end is changed, it is immediate on both branches.

I do not see a BiocCredentials account yet for you.  We will need to create this in order to update the configuration.  Please let us know what email you would like to use for login and your github username. We will send activation email directly to you. Once activated you will be able to manage ssh keys for access.

Dear BioC,

We would like to change the maintainer for the MoonlightR package from me to Antonio Colaprico (antonio.colaprico using curie.fr<mailto:antonio.colaprico using curie.fr> ; cc�d).

What do we need to do to make this happen? I assume we need confirmation form Antonio at the very least (he should already be part of BioConductor)

I know I�m supposed to request the change here, but I am a bit fuzzy on the details:

  1.
I assume we need to change the maintainer role in the DESCRIPTION file - does this need to be done immediately both in the release and devel branch? And before or after the official change?
  2.
Once you do the switch, will the change be effective for both branches immediately?
