[Bioc-devel] Orthogene devel check error impacting downstream packages

Dear Bioconductor developers,

We would like to report that the current devel version of orthogene appears
to have an issue that is affecting downstream packages.

The package currently shows an error in the Bioconductor devel build
reports:
https://bioconductor.org/checkResults/devel/bioc-LATEST/orthogene/

This problem also propagates to our package BulkSignalR, which depends on
orthogene, and has resulted in build errors as well.

We wanted to flag this here in case it has a broader impact on dependent
packages before the upcoming devel freeze.

We have also contacted the orthogene maintainers directly.
