Dear Bioconductor community,
Two post-conference events will take place immediately after BioC2026 in Seattle on 13–14 August 2026. These events will run in parallel, so participants should plan to attend either the workshop or the hackathon.
1. Workshop: Single-cell Analysis with Bioconductor
📍 Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center
💲 $50 USD (registration confirmed upon payment)
This two-day, hands-on workshop will focus on large-scale single-cell RNA-seq analysis using Bioconductor. The course will combine the Carpentries’ hands‑on, interactive teaching approach with Bioconductor‑specific materials and workflows.

2. Bioconductor Hackathon
📍 Seattle Children’s Research Institute
💲 Free
This collaborative hackathon will focus on developing or extending Bioconductor packages, improving documentation and workflows, and contributing to community-driven project ideas. Participation is open to all experience levels.
