Hello everyone !
I would like to test the installation of my RbowtieCuda package, but at
the moment it can only be installed from the devel version of bioconductor.
But when I switch Biocmanager to devel mode, I get the error message:
BiocManager::install(version='devel')
Error: Bioconductor version '3.21' requires R version '4.5'; use
`version = '3.20'` with R version 4.4; see https://bioconductor.org/install
R version 4.5 is still not available under Ubuntu 24.10 (Oracular),
which I'm using. And installing the repository
deb https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu oracular-cran40/
doesn't work either.
Should I wait for the official release of Ubuntu 25.04 on April 17 to
install the package?
Thanks a lot!
Franck
