[Bioc-devel] Bioconductor Release 3.11 Schedule

The Bioconductor Release 3.11 Schedule has been posted and is tentatively scheduled for April 28th (Following the R 4.0 release on April 24) . Important deadlines can be found on the website and will be posted here and on the support site. As a quick summary:

April 3: New package submission deadline (packages will still need to pass the formal review process to be included). Package submitted after this date are not guaranteed to be reviewed; they will be reviewed time pending.

April 14 Current Release 3.10 Freeze. No changes will be accepted to the Bioconductor 3.10 branch after this date.

April 22 No API changes to devel 3.11. Also, newly submitted packages need to be accepted by this date to be included in the release

April 24 Deadline for packages to be passing R CMD install/build/check.

April 27 Devel 3.11 branch is frozen to create release branch.

April 28 Release Bioconductor 3.11
