[Bioc-devel] credentials/authors for MTseeker, biscuiteer, and data packages corresponding to each

Hi,

Right now, both you and Tim are on the package as people with access to the package on the Bioconductor git repository.

I would refrain from setting up a generic email. Mostly because, it doesnt come with the same amount of accountability as a users email address.

Nitesh

Hi Nitesh,

I've changed the Maintainer fields in biscuiteerData and biscuiteer and pushed those to bioconductor's master branch for each of those packages.

Along those lines, I was wondering if it's possible to have multiple maintainers listed. This would help on our end of being able to get bugs fixed quicker.

If that's not possible, is it possible to have the Maintainer's email be a listserv email address (like, biscuiteer-maintainers using vai.org), pending we get an account setup with BiocCredentials with the associated email address?

Thanks,
Jacob

Please change your password. Once you do that, add your SSH keys and you should have access to the package.

At some point my credentials for bioc-git seem to have become interchanged with jacob's, and when I went to fix this, it appears that my email suddenly replaced that of all my co-authors on MTseeker and biscuiteer. This is a bit of a problem since we are different people.

I'd just like to ensure that the two are as intended; we have discussed, but not yet implemented, a "rebroadcaster" email address for each package, and were wondering if that's a better way forwards regardless.
