Hi,
We can add him as a collaborator on the git repo, but you can have only one official maintainer. If you wish to change the maintainer on the package you’d have to change the description file as well.
We also need the email address he’d like to use for his BiocCredentials account. (There wasn’t a “cc” email address).
Another suggestion is, since you have such a well maintained https://github.com/DavisLaboratory/singscore Github repo, it’s preferable to have one maintainer who “syncs” with the Bioconductor git repo. All the other collaborators and authors just contribute to the Github repo. This will allow a few things,
1. Allow all the contributors of that package to use the social coding features of GitHub.
2. Allow one git expert (the maintainer listed on the package) to sync all new updates to the GitHub repo to Bioconductor git repo.
3. It also allows the maintainer to act as a “gatekeeper” of sorts, to know what changes are being made to the package, and if they are accurate or not.
Best,
Nitesh

Please confirm when he gets access to the bioconductor git repositories.
Many thanks
