Dear All,

To have a local build machine as similar as possible to the one of BioC to
check packages locally:

1. Will the new, upcoming builds, use the new R-beta (as in, e.g.,
https://cran.r-project.org/bin/windows/base/rtest.html) [the link is for
Windows, but this question also applies to Linux]

2. Under Windows, will that R-beta be built using Rtools33 and gcc-4.9.3 or
Rtools32 with gcc-4.6.3? (I think up to now Rtools32 was being used, based
upon date and version of gcc ---4.6.3)

Sorry if this has been explained before; I googled for it but could not
find an answer.

Thanks,

R.
