[Bioc-devel] please "watch" the tags on the support site that correspond to packages you maintain

Hi everyone (especially package maintainers),

As you know, we recently switched the Bioconductor mailing list to a Q&A site at https://support.biooconductor.org .

If you haven't registered on this site, please do so now. If you ever subscribed to the Bioconductor list, you already have an account ready to go (listed under your email address), you just need to activate it by resetting your password here:

https://support.bioconductor.org/accounts/password/reset/

If you were never on the bioconductor list, you can register here:

https://support.bioconductor.org/accounts/signup/

or if you prefer to login with a social provider (Persona, Facebook, Twittter, Github, Google, Facebook,
StackExchange/StackOverflow), you can do that here:

https://support.bioconductor.org/accounts/login/

Once you have an account on the system, please edit your profile and in the Watched Tags field, enter a comma-separated list (all in lowercase) of the names of all the packages you maintain. You will then receive an email whenever anybody posts a question about your package.

We may come up with some programmatic way to make sure maintainers are subscribed to the site and are watching the relevant tags, and we may make it a requirement, but for now we strongly encourage you to do both.

Let us know here on bioc-devel if you have any questions about this.
Thanks,
Dan
