[Bioc-devel] Bioconductor 2.11 release schedule

Hi developers,

We plan to release Bioconductor 2.11 on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012.

Note that the deadline for submitting a package that goes into this
release is Monday, September 10, 2012. If you submit a package after
this date, it won't be included in BioC 2.11 but it will be a
candidate for inclusion in BioC 2.12 (planned for Spring 2013).

Also note that because R switched to a yearly release schedule and
Bioconductor is maintaining its twice yearly release schedule, both
current Bioconductor (2.10) and devel (2.11) run against R-2.15.
Bioconductor 2.12 will run against R-devel, and will be released
immediately after R-2.16, in Spring 2013.
