Hi all,
I've been informed that the license for the mclust package has changed.
If you maintain a package that uses mclust, I encourage you to review
the mclust license terms and make sure that the license of your package
is compatible.
When mclust is loaded it displays the following message:
>> library("mclust")
>
> by using mclust, or by using any other package that invokes mclust,
> you accept the license agreement in the mclust LICENSE file
> and at http://www.stat.washington.edu/mclust/license.txt
The terms suggest that a package depending on mclust is only free for
academic use. Such restrictions are, in my opinion, not in the spirit
of the Bioconductor project. As such, you may wish to reconsider use of
mclust in your packages.

PS: Packages that currently list mclust in Depends or Suggests are:
Ringo
Rolexa
SpeCond
arrayQuality
FlowClust
flowMerge
puma
spotSegmentation
