[Bioc-devel] openSUSE 11.0/gcc 4.3.1: changes in standard header file hierarchy break some BioC packages

Dear Herve,

Thank you for this information, I would be eager to know how my package 
"xps", which is mainly based on C++, works with openSuse11.0.
However, please note that it depends on the installation of ROOT, thus 
currently it does not build on openSuse11.0 nor on Windows.

Like R, ROOT is updating the production version periodically, the 
current version being root_v5.20/00. Thus it would be great, if BioC2.3 
could be using the new production version, see: 
http://root.cern.ch/root/Version520.html
In case you are installing the binary for Windows, it may probably be 
better to use the version for VC++9.0 (which also works with VC++7.1, 
see the link)
