Just to amplify...

Version bumps are required not just because it is fun to edit the
DESCRIPTION file, but because having different code with the same
version number out in the wild (in one of BioC's package repositories
hit by biocLite) is a Bad Thing and it is something that was easy for
us to help mitigate.
