[Bioc-devel] BioC 2.1 Release schedule and deadlines

Hello BioC package maintainers,

It is that time again.  The BioC 2.1 release schedule is here:

Please start testing your package using R-2.6.0 devel and reviewing
the build report for your package(s):

    http://www.bioconductor.org/checkResults/2.1/bioc-LATEST/

Important deadlines
===================

* 24 September is the deadline for packages to pass R CMD check
  (R-2.6.0) with no ERROR messages.

* 01 October is the deadline for passing check without WARNING messages.

* The release of BioC 2.1 is planned for 05 October, two days after
  the planned release of R-2.6.0.
