The latest version of R is R-0.61.3.  You can find this is the file

	R-0.61.3.tgz

or create (a close approximation to) it by applying the patch in

	R-0.61.2-0.61.3.diff.gz

to a directory containing the 0.61.2 distribution.

Patch procedure, assuming standard GNU "patch" (users of the Solaris version
are on their own...), is as follows

<cd to top directory of distribution first>
gzip -dc R-0.61.2-0.61.3.diff.gz | patch -E -p1
