Paragliding at Daniels Mountain, USA

This is the launch at Daniels. We are 260m/850ft above the LZ, which is the field on the left. It's a 4.5:1 glide to reach it.

Yeehaa! The conditions were excellent. Laszlo is soaring above the ridge. He's making great progress with his flying!

That's the launch at Daniels from above. Jens is preparing his glider and will soon get airborne.

A few minutes before sunset, the lift peters out. A last look back to the ridge which is in nice fall colors.

With altitude to spare, I'm heading for the LZ. What a beautiful flight this was!

The tiger is also very happy with the turnout! More than 5 hours of airtime in mid-November, that's not bad!

What is he doing? He's sneaking away to hunt for cows. Good flights aren't perfect without a good meal thereafter :-)
