Course content

Multivariate Statistics deals with joint distributions of several random variables. This course introduces the basic concepts and provides an overview over classical and modern methods of multivariate statistics. We will consider the theory behind the methods as well as their applications.

Announcements

    January 23rd 2019:
    Beginning of lecture: Monday, 18/02/2019. The exam will take place, as announced in class, on the last lecture of the semester (27th May), same room, but at 1pm sharp -- not 1.15). The end will be at 3pm. Bring your Legi. It will be a multiple choice exam.
    April 11th 2019:
    Exercise class: Monday, 29/04/2019. The exercise sheet is now available on the lecture website. On the 29th instead of the lecture there will be an exercise class, where some exercises from the series are going to be discussed and where there will be the possibility to make questions.
